On the occasion of International Women’s Day, on March 8, LVMH is launching a Group-wide global discussion to foster greater Gender Equity.

This internal discussion at LVMH marks the 15th anniversary of EllesVMH, the Group’s Gender Equity program, which carried significant results: the number of women in key positions within LVMH went from 23% in 2007 to 44% today, and 17 women run the Group’s Maisons as CEOs. Such progress has been achieved thanks to the commitment of each and every employee of the Group.

As the Group is strengthened by its diversity of talents, this campaign promoting Gender Equity will take place on LVMH’s new internal digital platform, NEXT, which connects all employees, from all Maisons, all regions and all businesses.

From March 8 to April 15, employees will be able to exchange, debate, and share ideas or good practices about Gender Equity.
They will also review all EllesVMH Inclusion Index initiatives, an observatory and accelerator of Diversity and Inclusion within the Group, and vote on their preferred actions.

This campaign will be followed by feedback sessions to explore their solutions, then by concertation workshops to define together how to address these topics collectively within LVMH. The EllesVMH action plan will be shared by 2023.

In addition, to complement this approach and positively impact society outside of the workplace, LVMH decided to form a long-term partnership, in France, with Make.org, which is the first European citizen platform for engagement and collaboration.
Its objective is to create an impact on major causes to positively transform society by connecting citizens’ ideas to a network of associations and institutional actors.
The Make.org campaign will last 3 years and will gather people around finding new solutions for greater Gender Equity.
