The Métiers d’Excellence are back on tour all across France

LVMH is once again reaching out to engage directly with future talented employees in the Group’s exceptional Métiers d’Excellence with a new edition of the “You and ME” tour. The event will travel to five French cities between February 15 and March 29. Launched in 2022, this initiative resonates with the LVMH Group’s commitment to inclusion by helping develop employability among both young generations and people seeking reskilling opportunities in creative, craft and client experience métiers (sales, hospitality, restaurants and much more). The tour enables interested candidates to identify targeted training programs and embark on paths to employment. The traveling vocational orientation and recruitment fair is a chance for participants to learn about the more than 280 exceptionally skilled professions practiced across the LVMH Group. Candidates can apply for more than 3,500 jobs available at LVMH Maisons in 2023 (including work/study programs, internships, plus fixed-term and permanent contracts).

 The highly successful first edition of the event in 2022 drew over 2,500 visitors interested in the 1,200 job offers proposed. This year the “You & Me” tour returns with three times the number of jobs available, reflecting the tremendous recruiting momentum that has been building in Métiers d’Excellence skills for several years already.

The new edition kicks off on February 15 in Paris at the Palais Brongniart, hosted by LVMH Métier d’Excellence ambassador Tony Parker and Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies. The “You & Me” tour will then continue to cities in the heart of key LVMH Group employment catchment areas: Reims on March 3, Orléans on March 7, Clichy-sous-Bois on March 15 and, for the first time, Lyon on March 29.

“Our métiers centered on unique savoir-faire are actively seeking fresh talent, from leather goods and jewelry to retail and hotels. The Group has never experienced such a high level of recruiting needs. Building on the tremendous success of the first “You & ME” tour in 2022, we’re off once again to meet young people, as well as people interested in reskilling throughout the country, proposing more than 3,500 jobs to be filled in 2023 in France. The jobs fair will welcome students in the morning and the public in the afternoon. Attendees will have a chance to discover the Métiers d’Excellence, as well as the training opportunities available at the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence and its partners schools. Visitors will have a chance to speak with current apprentices and their tutors during skills demonstrations. They can also take advantage of personalized support, including coaching workshops led by Human Resources teams from LVMH Maisons, getting expert advice on how to write résumés and application letters, or how to prepare for job interviews.

The online platform youandme.lvmh.com is available to everyone seeking more information on LVMH Métiers d’Excellence, especially training opportunities and jobs available at the Group.

The 2023 edition of the “You & Me” tour introduces several innovations as well. A job dating space lets candidates quickly find jobs aligned with their professional plans and apply directly for a position at the end of the session. There is also a free online version of a vocational prep application called “You & ME La Prépa”. Available to everyone, the app helps candidates maximize their chances for success thanks to a personalized development itinerary adapted to their individual pace.

Registration for one of the five sessions of the 2023 “You & ME” tour is now open online at Je m’inscris (lvmh.com). The site also lists the 3,500 job offers proposed, along with detailed information on LVMH Métiers d’Excellence.
