In the exceptional setting of the Bvlgari Resort Dubai – the largest establishment in the Bvlgari hotel collection – the Roman jeweler unveiled its new timepieces for 2020 during LVMH Watch Week. For women, the Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon introduces unprecedented watchmaking precision, joined by new models in the Diva’s Dream collection. For men, Bvlgari rewrites the rules of contemporary watches, unveiling new finishes for its iconic Octo Finissimo model.
Combining its legendary expertise in high jewelery with Swiss watchmaking know-how, Bvlgari has earned a reputation as the “Jeweler of Time”. This status underlines the importance the Roman Maison attaches to adapting function to design in order to transform each of its watches into true jewels.
Bvlgari unveiled new watches for both women and men for 2020 at LVMH Watch Week. The high point of the presentation was the new Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon, featuring the smallest tourbillon for women in the market. Exquisitely designed with an elegant case in the shape of a diminutive serpent’s head, this jewel of a watch is the latest incarnation of Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti model.
Among the new models of the women’s collection Diva’s Dream, the Diva’s Dream Minute Repeater Malachite confirm Bvlgari’s unrivalled status as the “Jeweler of Time”. Paved with diamonds with a green malachite dial, the watch brings new brilliance to the traditional complication, combining the collection’s emblematic fan-shape with the thinnest ladies’ minute repeater ever conceived.
For men, the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater was the Bvlgari highlight at LVMH Watch Week – Dubai 2020, revisiting the titanium model launched in 2016 in sandblasted rose gold. The minute repeater – the most complex ever watch complication using sound to indicate the time – is a true technical marvel, with the dial’s hours-markers’ and small seconds sounter incised, cut-out design to amplify resonance inside the case.
