You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following mission:

 

  • Sales, revenue and productivity responsibility for respective categories
  • Ownership in assortment definition and brand management as well as product lifecycle of a defined area for b&m and e-Commerce in parallel with assortment and category strategy
  • Ownership for suppliers in area of responsibility (business meetings/ reviews and follow ups, define joint opportunities etc.)
  • Definition of commercial, activation and promotion plan in collaboration with revenue & growth department
  • Monitoring and review analysis of market, supplier and brand/ product performances as well as budget based on internal KPI’s
  • Providing sales & turnover reporting/ learnings and analysis for decision making and continuous improvement (assortment, pricing, positioning improvements)
  • Complete overview on existing as well as new floorplans for further planning and actions (including store openings and renovation)
  • Take responsibility for merchandising updates/ orders incl. localization as well as delivery for corner and store openings
  • Strong collaboration with internal departments including supply chain, CRM, retail, finance and digital teams to deliver integrated consumer-centric strategy that will drive growth, profitability and brands performance as well as central teams and provide feedback and input accordingly
  • Close collaboration with visual merchandising team on gondola updates, retail excellence, brands activations and brand network changes throughout the year 
  • Negotiation with EME teams and suppliers on additional brands investment to increase profit and brand loyalty as well as localize centrally negotiated elements 
  • Improving internal and centralized processes/ tools for better productivity & internal collaboration
  • Lead Junior Category & Category managers

  • Minimum 6 year on same or similar position, good knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles – product, brand & trade marketing knowledge focus
  • Profound knowledge of the Beauty Industry 
  • Understanding of data analysis and calculation methods with focus on excel files
  • Proficient in MS Office – advanced user
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent communication skills (English is a must)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Be able to work in agile & flexible environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
