Position

Tiffany & Co is looking for a top-tier and driven professional to join the Technology Transformation Office. This role will orchestrate the company’s communications efforts in support of the strategic transformation within the technology sector. This individual will develop and implement a proactive communications strategy to further IT’s priorities and facilitate the adoption of change and transformation throughout the IT organization.

This role will build an impactful communications program and create content that drives significant employee and stakeholder engagement. They will collaborate with senior IT leaders to articulate IT’s transformation journey. In partnership with HR, the Manager - IT Change & Communications will implement initiatives that promote a high-performance and engaged IT workforce, cultivate cultural development, and support organizational change to enable IT Transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement change communication and engagement activities to achieve IT transformation objectives and outcomes. Collaborate with HR to develop specific tools for IT cultural transformation, enhanced team dynamics and networks, and effective leadership and matrix behaviors.
  • Draft, edit, and produce relevant and engaging messages, from regular IT announcements to employee case-for-change stories, business and IT newsletters, surveys and summarized insights, and others.
  • Use and promote a mix of communication channels (including digital, internal, and site-specific assets and tools) to reach and engage targeted internal audiences. Identify and implement innovative approaches, technologies, and innovations as needed.
  • Utilize metrics and insights to improve communication, engagement, and change outcomes. Align the IT leadership team around the accurate measurements for IT organization performance and report on those measurements regularly: Implement real-time dashboards and reporting tools to provide transparency into key performance indicators and drive informed decision-making.
  • Promote and embed best practices and communication capabilities within the IT community. Enforce global corporate standards and governance for communications across the company.
  • Actively collaborate with the rest of the IT Transformation Office to support the promotion of standard methodologies across IT.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience leading internal communications, preferably within a Transformation Office or similar setup 
  • 8+ years of experience in organizational change management and transformation
  • 5+ years of experience working in a technology department or global organization
  • Knowledge of project management practices; ability to lead projects, coordinate multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously and autonomously, and work well under deadline pressure
  • Ability to make data capturing specific and relevant to drive insights
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; highly effective in collaborative settings
  • Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships
  • Ability to interact positively with a diverse group of individuals and recognize key stakeholders and develop tactics to successfully implement change
  • Ability to take initiative, suggest solutions and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Authentic curiosity and learning agility to deeply understand organization needs.
  • Desire and ability to mentor staff and project teams.
  • Consultative skills, such as workshop facilitation, synthesize information into presentations with actionable recommendations.
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, and thorough.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in Retail and/or Consumer Product Goods
