Position

Position Overview:

The supply management analyst will be responsible to review, create, and communicate purchase order details to Peretti vendors; provide Director and Manager with reporting and analysis as it relates to Acquisition Plan and Total Purchase Plans. Develop thorough understanding of Elsa Peretti designs and the vendors that produce them. Maintain strong, positive relationships with vendors and develop and refine plans to meet fluctuating customer demand; address production constraints and/or other vendor or design issues. Prioritize shipments and/or launches as necessary to support promotional or marketing efforts and communicate accordingly to the team.

Key Accountabilities:

Vendor Management

  • Communicate and confirm accurate details of Acquisition schedule to vendors; process firm PO's and send timely monthly order details and summary. 
  • Manage, expedite, re-schedule and prioritize firm requirements as needed. 
  • Identify and evaluate long-term capacity constraints and review action plan with Director and Manager
  • Work with vendors on late deliveries and resolve root cause of lateness
  • Manage data integrity as it relates to final new product costs, branch plant set up, production lead-time, case pack quantities, order minimums, production, split and other ordering rules. 
  • Coordinate joint communications with PD counterparts to consolidate vendor communications
  • Support internal Responsible Sourcing initiatives and communicate out requirements to vendors.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Provide the director and manager with analysis and input as necessary to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Coordinate, create and distribute necessary reports on a monthly basis related to total business requirements 
  • Create, track and provide vendor performance data; prepare documents for all vendor meeting
  • Coordinate with Tiffany Industrial team on monthly delivery performance reporting.
  • Provide monthly updates to the Director and Manager as well as cross-functional counterparts on Peretti delivery performance and recovery schedule
  • Provide cost analysis to cross-functional team for vendor cost change

Communication and Cross Functional Partnership 

  • Foster positive partnerships with Peretti vendors through tactful dialogue. Employ understanding of the nuances of the designer business in order achieve mutual objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (CM, PD, DP, IP) on new product launch timing and acquisition details
  • Partner with Tiffany Industrial teams in order to establish “best practices” with the objective of achieving process improvement as needed
  • Proactively communicate with USGDC and EUGDC operation teams on vendor compliance and receiving issues.
  • Track and manage vendor statement of account with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are paid within payment terms.

Administrative and Other 

  • Resolve invoice cost discrepancies with Accounts Payable and expedite payments as needed
  • Support Director, manager and team in major projects and meeting preparation as needed; cross train within the area and support Team reporting deliverables as needed
  • Review of key vendor RTV's and quality issues with QA and alert vendors of issues for remediation.
  • Partner with internal Responsible Sourcing team by tracking and managing vendors compliance deadlines and escalate as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree required
  • Strong Organizational, Communication and follow-up skills
  • Strong Computer and Analytical Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards, Business Objects, Power BI, JDA, Advanced Excel skills
  • Working Knowledge of DRP functions and processes

The hiring range for this position ranges from $70,125 - $94,875. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
