Position Overview

This role provides essential operational and PMO support to the VP IT Global Engagement and Program Gold, and the broader global engagement team, ensuring alignment between the global strategy and regional execution. Based in the U.S., this position acts as a crucial bridge between the Paris-based VP, the U.S.-based teams, and the regional CIO/IT Directors and their teams. The IT Global Engagement Manager will proactively facilitate communication, ensure consistent application of guidelines, and drive collaborative problem-solving across diverse teams and time zones.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Facilitating Global Collaboration:
    • Proactively foster collaboration and communication between the U.S.-based teams and regional CIO/IT Directors, ensuring a unified approach to global engagement initiatives, aligned with VP’s guidelines.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for U.S. teams, resolving issues, escalating concerns, and ensuring their needs are addressed within the global strategy.
    • Advocate regional needs towards U.S. teams and advocate global strategy to regions
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice transfer across regions, adapting global guidelines to regional contexts where appropriate.
  • PMO & Standards Enforcement:
    • Prepare and maintain standardized templates for project reporting, financial tracking, and other key PMO functions, ensuring consistent use across all regions and alignment with global guidelines (TCO CIO office department).
    • Monitor regional adoption of standardized templates, providing support and guidance to regional teams to ensure compliance.
    • Act as the relay for CIO office guidelines on portfolio, project, and budget management, ensuring these guidelines are communicated effectively and implemented consistently across all regions.
  • Regional Meeting Support & Preparation:
    • Proactively develop the agenda and prepare the presentation deck for monthly regional meetings (and any related meetings) based on understanding of global strategy, regional needs, and potential challenges.
    • Go beyond simply following instructions; anticipate discussion topics, identify key issues, and propose solutions for VP’s consideration.
    • Record detailed minutes of regional meetings, capturing key decisions, action items, and open issues.
    • Track the status of action items, proactively following up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion and reporting on progress in subsequent meetings.
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation:
    • Identify and resolve potential conflicts or misunderstandings between U.S.-based teams and regional teams, fostering positive working relationships.
    • Escalate complex issues to the VP, providing clear documentation and proposed solutions.
  • Knowledge Management & Documentation:
    • Maintain a comprehensive repository of global engagement documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and financial reports, ensuring easy access for all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a PMO, project coordination, or global operations role, preferably within a global IT organization.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and financial management principles.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams across multiple time zones.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify problems, and propose solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $134,810- $190,000. The salary offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
