Overview

Media (Sr.) Executive is primarily responsible for media planning and implementation This role involves developing an integrated media strategy that utilizes both traditional and digital media to convey the right messages to the right target audiences at the right time to drive brand awareness and desirability. The ideal candidate is a media professional experienced in both online and offline channels, with a disruptive and digital-first mindset.
 

Key Accountabilities

Media Planning & Implementation
Plan and execute paid media activities to establish strong brand awareness and desirability.

  • Play a key role in media planning and implementation, with a strong focus on digital channels (display, paid social, programmatic, search) to maximize TOMA (Top of Mind Awareness) and desirability.
  • Monitor day-to-day campaign fulfillment and provide insights for campaign optimization based on Google Analytics.
  • Coordinate communications between the global team and local stakeholders (landlords, publishers, agencies, etc.) to streamline asset preparation and delivery for all channels, including print, OOH, and digital.
  • Develop and continuously explore new opportunities to create media-firsts, never-been-done-before formats, and experiences across channels including premium positions and special executions.
  • Analyze campaign results based on qualitative & quantitative data and set insightful forthcoming plans.
  • Follow up on internal processes related to asset creation and campaign planning, including budget tracking and management
     

Channel Management
Manage owned social media channels, including Facebook (KR) and KakaoTalk, and develop effective social media strategies and relevant content.

  • Develop a local social media content calendar in coordination with the local PR team and the global social team.
  • Manage owned social media channel accounts (Facebook KR & KakaoTalk) and create social postings aligned with both global and local campaigns (3 or 4 postings per week).
  • Request custom asset creation as needed for local social media platforms (Facebook KR & KakaoTalk).
  • Manage channel message sending including captions, collection mapping, and calendars
     

Others
Support reporting needs with agency partners, including post-media buying reports, media spend reports, competitive reports, etc.

  • Manage and maintain official terminology and caption sets across campaigns and communications
  • Manage partners including media agencies and direct channel owners
  • Ensure accurate tracking of media performance and investment for reporting.
  • Handle all supplier payments based on the approved finance workflow for payment requests.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-10 years of experience in media planning and execution
  • Basic understanding of the retail business
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Korean
  • Exceptional problem-solving and time management abilities
  • Appreciation and understanding of the power of brand elevation, design, and craftsmanship
  • Ability to strategically assess opportunities and make data-driven decisions resulting in tangible improvements in performance
  • Skills in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and ad tracking technologies
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to get things done
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Can-do attitude & strong teamwork mindset
