OVERVIEW

The Regional Manager, Northwest will oversee the business and team operations for half of Berluti China boutique stores, ensuring that the brand's standards of service, presentation, and client experience are consistently upheld. This role requires a strong leadership with a deep understanding of luxury fashion, exceptional people management skills, and a passion for Berluti brand with real entrepreneurship

Job responsibilities

 

ROLE & RESPONSIBLITIES:

Market intelligence

  • Provide first-hand information concerning commercial projects in each city
  • Collect and develop market intelligence within the industry, and update the competitors' information or sales activities in China to the General Manager
  • Maintain good relationship with landlord and support negotiation with them on lease contract and business terms

 

Sales and Performance:

  • Develop area/city action plan to achieve commercial target in terms of qualitative & quantitative aspects
  • Analyze sales figures and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, provide qualitative feedbacks
  • Implement strategies to improve sales performance, including upselling, cross-selling, and clienteling initiatives.

Client Engagement:

  • Ensure that every customer receives an excellent shopping experience reflected by good mystery shopper result.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with CRM team to develop and take action on brand key CRM strategies
  • Seeking affinity partner for new client recruitment
  • Join in store and brand events to build client relationship

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of store managers to achieve their full potential.
  • Provide training, coaching & feedback for career development.
  • Retain key talents by motivating team to enhance job satisfaction.
  • Manage store managers by monitoring and evaluating performance, and by conducting corrective or disciplinary actions.

Store Operations Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening, closing, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure that the store environment is immaculate, reflecting the luxury status of the brand.
  • Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all operational standards.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create stunning displays that showcase the brand’s DNA and collections.
  • Ensure that the visual presentation of the store aligns with brand guidelines and enhances the customer experience.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on store performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on sales data and customer feedback.

Brand Ambassadorship:

  • Represent the brand with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Maintain relationship with the landlords through brand events / product launch animation.

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passionate and strong commitment towards Berluti brand
  • Proven experience in fashion or luxury brands, managing multiple stores with multiple manager level direct reports
  • Excellent understanding of local market, product savor faire, selling ceremony and client behavior
  • Establish a constant focus on Berluti branding, continually driving engagement, knowledge and passion for the brand across the retail team
  • Developed analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a "can-do" attitude with strong sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and influential power with solid experience in team development
  • Creative and daring to try new alternatives at work
  • Capability to handle and schedule frequent domestic travel
  • Fluent in business English and Mandarin

Berluti has been making shoes for the elegant man since it was founded. The Duke of Windsor, Jean Cocteau, Andy Warhol… The greatest clients walked through the House’s doors, each one passionate about and captivated by the timeless elegance of these exceptional shoes, elevated to the rank of works of art. Offbeat classicism and technical virtuosity are keynotes of the House, while its character remains the same. Its story began at the end of the 19th century, when a young 30-year-old Italian brought his creative energy to Paris in order to practice his craft as a master shoemaker. He named his first model, a lace-up shoe, after himself, Alessandro, and the House took his surname, Berluti. Since then, every generation of the House has cultivated exceptional savoir-faire in the mastery of form and working with leather and patinas.
