Position

This position is to develop and continue the local merchandising strategy for all categories in Men’s by setting up the buying and distribution plan, identifying opportunities in collaboration with regional teams and oversee all aspects of sales performance for the range of products to achieve commercial target for the country.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandising strategy for the men's category that aligns with the company's overall business objectives by Identifying market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
  • Create and maintain a seasonal merchandise plan, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and annual event activities.
  • Manage the open-to-buy (OTB) budget for the men's category by closing working with the Planning and Finance team
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory levels and maximize sell-through rates.
  • Manage and a team of merchants, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to inform central product development and merchandising decisions.
  • Work closely with marketing, visual merchandising, and e-commerce teams to ensure a consistent brand message and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Partner with Boutique Team to gather feedback on product performance and customer preferences
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance and production teams to identify and address any quality issues within the category

Profile

  • Minimum 15 years of merchandising experience with a minimum of 5 years in men’s category in fashion brands
  • Excellent leadership, communication skills to lead a team and to work cross functionally
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools
  • In-depth understanding of local fashion market and commercial acumen
  • Proficient in both oral and written English
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willing to work under dynamic environments
  • Communication skills to work closely with various stakeholders
