This position is a unique opportunity to serve as a software solution architect and SME, with a specific focus on Finance Solutions (SAP S/4HANA at its core).

As a Senior SAP Project Manager, you will guide SAP S/4HANA system implementations and evolutions for finance processes, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.

Your role will cover key finance areas such as general ledger, controlling, treasury management, asset management, financial reporting via Fiori and other SD and MM Module.

Job responsibilities

  • Functional Architecture: Lead the analysis, research, design, and development of new functionalities and their integration with key applications and services within the SAP ecosystem, specifically for finance. This includes synthesizing complex business needs and challenges, comparing alternative solutions, and crafting well-reasoned recommendations for executive-level decision-making through concise decision papers.
  • SAP Core Model Deployment  & Product Roadmap: Participate in functional architecture design reviews and contribute to the definition of the product roadmap and strategy for financial modules. Ensure that strategic financial objectives are clearly articulated and supported by actionable solution proposals. Contribute to multiple deployments (roll-outs) of the SAP Core Model solution, coordinating, challenging, and validating IT vendor deliveries.
  • Workshops: Participate in and/or lead design sessions, demos, prototype sessions, testing, and training workshops with business users and other IT associates, focusing on financial aspects. Facilitate discussions that translate strategic financial vision into clear, executable solution designs, preparing comprehensive materials for leadership review.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels. Proven ability to articulate complex financial solutions and strategic recommendations in a clear, concise manner to directors and executive stakeholders.
  • Business Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of DIOR's business processes and strategy, particularly in finance, through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners.
  • Development Team Guidance: Guide the development team to design, configure, and implement the solution according to product development standards to meet financial business requirements.
  • Integration and Consistency: Collaborate with other functional architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end integration and consistency of financial processes.
  • Workshops: Participate in and/or lead design sessions, demos, prototype sessions, testing, and training workshops with business users and other IT associates, focusing on financial aspects.

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Education: Higher education in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent.
  • SAP Experience: Significant experience (minimum 8 years) with SAP, including a strong track record of active participation in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs. Proven expertise in financial modules (FI/CO), ideally in the Retail or Luxury industry.
  • Key Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI/CO, with knowledge of general ledger, controlling, treasury management, and asset accounting. SAP CAR is a plus.
  • Configuration: Strong configuration experience, ability to determine when to use configuration versus custom code, as well as advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Integration: Integration experience with treasury or financial reporting systems is a plus. Solid understanding and experience with SAP SD integration points to finance are essential.
  • Functional/Technical Translation: Ability to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, provide estimates, and deliver desired functionality.
  • Deployment Methodologies: Knowledge of global SAP deployment methodologies and support models. (This point is valuable as it indicates familiarity with structured, large-scale project execution and post-go-live support, which is critical for a transformation program).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels. Proven ability to articulate complex financial solutions and strategic recommendations in a clear, concise manner to directors and executive stakeholders.
  • Impact Analysis: Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.

CHRISTIAN DIORMAISON

“Whatever you do – whether for work or pleasure – do it with passion! Live with passion,” wrote Christian Dior. Well before he embarked on his destiny as a couturier, Christian Dior was fascinated with art. The young Normandy native and several friends opened an art gallery when he was just 23. In 1938 he learned the métier of pattern cutter with Robert Piguet and three years later began working as a designer for Lucien Lelong. Right from the founding of his Maison in 1946, he transformed his dreams into irresistible creations, seeking to break with the somber war years by elevating pure joy. His visionary spirit celebrated and enchanted women the world over. In only ten years, Monsieur Dior revolutionized the conventions of elegance and femininity, designing collections infused with dreams.
