For our boutique in Vienna we are looking for a Department Manager  with passion, energy and drive. You play a key role in maximizing the sales and profitability of the department. You would work closely with the Boutique Manager to enhance the commercial performance and maintain excellent relations with key suppliers.  

Job responsibilities

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Collaborating closely with the Boutique Manager such as setting the annual strategic plan for the network and preparing annual budgets, and attending manager meetings to review store performance and provide regular feedback to the Boutique Manager 
  • Tracking daily sales against monthly/annual target and taking action as necessary  
  • Developing annual calendar and oversee implementation of marketing activities in conjunction with Marketing Manager  
  • Managing, engaging, and guiding the department team and setting objectives and budgets for them and ensuring their accomplishment 
  • Taking responsibility for coaching, training and mentoring own team members to achieve their objectives

Profile

PROFIL

  • 5+ years of retail experience required, preferably with at least 2 years of management, in a luxury product setting
  • Ability to identify and meet the needs of customers to meet and exceed their expectations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and management skills in a fast-paced environment 
  • Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sense and good knowledge of the luxury industry 
  • Fluent in German and English, another language on top is a plus
