Position

As Retail Performance Manager for Southern Europe, you report to the General Manager of the zone and your focus is to improve the Performance Culture & Retail Experience in our network of more than 35 Boutiques in 7 Markets.

Align all retail functions, give them visibility of what are the needs and the opportunities in existing in stores and align strategies accordingly.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

People managment

Direct reporting-lines of Training, Maintenance & Operations to ensure the best level of service and quality in our boutiques and guaranteeing the Dior Policies by maximizing shopping experience. At the same time, very close collaboration with Product Merchandising, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and others key functions.

Store performance enhancement & monitoring

• The Retail Performance Manager is responsible for increasing boutiques sales within the area by controlling the consideration of the selling policies

• Being a strong Retail sparring partner within the management team and a challenging & developing business partner for our boutiques

• Ensuring an excellent customer experience and harmonize the standards of client experience in the boutiques of the zone according to the Brand highest expectations (mystery shopping), especially with respect to the standard of welcome, product presentation (with VM) and all other details ensuring the unique and “luxury” nature of customer interactions under a strong collaboration with Training

• Identify & analyse amount of time Sales Associates allocated to responsibilities other than sales/clienteling and provide recommendations, which will maximize the associates' time with their customers

• Proactively design & implement ad hoc action plans for suffering categories in close cooperation of all retail functions through the four-hands initiation of specific 360° plans of actions and bespoke incentive programs followed by consistent results tracking

• Recommend added-value activities that will increase individual UPT, AUR, AVT, promotes cross-selling of categories, increases retention, and return rates & recruitment of clients

• Issue and analyse monthly reports (Try on rates, Traffic related KPIs, Recruitment, Cross Selling) and peers benchmarking, competitor analyses, identify performance opportunities, provide recommendation and initiate actions to ensure that staffing is in line with the respective store's customer traffic and support increase in customer conversion rates together with Operations and HR – with the help of monthly FTE meetings

• Provide regular in-depth analysis of outliers (over and underperforming stores) and work with a specific, regional action plan to improve the performance

• Organize periodical store performance catch-ups to report on progress and discuss action plans

• Ensure work on Health & Security standards with HR and Operations, also respect data protection regulations and follow up

• Operations: ensure operational excellence and drive the function towards an improved culture of performance based on technological improvements and a team-first mindset (“SAs are my clients”)

• Training: Assure the delivery of high-impact, interactive and consistent training and coaching solutions across the zone. Guarantee the constant alignment of all training actions on the Brand priorities. Boutique openings, pop-ups

• Being the point of reference when boutique openings, together with a taskforce opening project team • Strong involvement in the execution of pop-ups & resorts

• Helps identify to keep the level of maintenance based on the Dior standards within our retail network

• Being the project leader for retail – project role outs – like “Retail Excellence”

Profile

We are seeking an analytical and strategic profile to optimize retail operations and elevate customer experience across Southern Europe.

  • Proven Retail Performance Driver: Significant experience of 8+ years in retail management/operations, with a track record of optimizing KPIs (sales, conversion, clienteling).
  • Advanced Data Analyst: Highly proficient in retail data analytics, translating insights into actionable strategies and measurable performance improvements.
  • Strategic & Operational Mindset: Ability to define targets, identify trends, and implement operational excellence across multiple markets.
  • Influential Leader & Coach: Skilled in developing, coaching, and influencing diverse retail teams and managers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaborator: Strong ability to work effectively with various departments (Marketing, Merchandising, Operations) to align strategies.
  • Project Management Acumen: Experience leading retail initiatives, process improvements, and boutique openings/Pop-Ups.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Fluent in English, with excellent presentation skills to convey complex data and strategies clearly.
  • Results-Oriented: A strategic thinker with a focus on achieving financial and operational excellence in a luxury retail environment.
