For our boutique in Frankfurt, Goethestraße, we are looking for a Department Manager with passion and drive. 

The Department Manager plays a key role in maximizing the sales and profitability of the department. He/she works closely with the Boutique Manager to enhance the commercial performance and maintain excellent relations with key suppliers.

Job responsibilities

  • Follow up with the Boutique Manager to ensure optimization of the stock level usage
  • Ensure all team members are following the established procedures of ordering/ transfer, etc
  • Develop, with the Marketing Manager, the yearly calendar and oversee marketing activities implementation
  • Assist the Boutique Manager in defining the yearly strategic plan for the network and preparing the yearly budgets
  • Follow up on daily sales vs monthly/yearly target and take action when necessary
  • Maintain a smooth relationship with the suppliers and business partners to implement partnership
  • Attend Managers’ meetings to review the shops performance and provide regular feedback to Boutique Manager
  • Manage, engage, and guide the team reporting
  • Set the objectives and budgets for own team members and ensure their accomplishment
  • Responsible for coaching and training own team members
  • Ability to identify and satisfy the needs of customers, in order to meet and exceed their expectations

Profile

  • 5+ years of retail experience required, preferably with at least 2 years of management, in a luxury product setting
  • Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury industry
  • Demonstration of own initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, communicational, organizational and management skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in German and English, another language on top is a plus
