Position

The Training Manager is an inspiring leader. They are responsible for training and coaching the Retail Teams on the Dior selling ceremony, product, and client development to support the achievement of commercial goals. The Training Manager provides consistent feedback to the EVP of Retail and Boutique Director/Manager on ways to improve, providing solutions and elevate training initiatives for their region set by the department. They are a close partner to the Boutiques Leaders and Retail leadership to help identify training needs and solutions. They are a collaborative leader working cross functionally to ensure all Dior selling teams are well equipped to provide the ultimate client experience in an uber luxury environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop & facilitate Training Programs in the Retail Network including brand culture, product knowledge, selling ceremony, client development and employee induction, etc.
  • Evaluate training and development needs of Retail Network on an ongoing basis and provide regular follow-up to retail teams and corporate departments
  • Evaluate existing training programs, partner with the training team to revise or create new training programs based on business needs
  • Partner with Regionals, Merchandising, Visual, Events, Client Engagement, and PR teams to develop product training on a seasonal basis
  • Track productivity reporting process, partner with Regional Leadership to coach and manage underperforming associates
  • Oversee orientation for new employees and store openings
  • Assist with floor support and spot coaching as needed when traveling throughout the retail network
  • Provide recaps on training/coaching visits to Training and Retail Leadership Teams
  • Communicate with Retail Leadership to evaluate training level of all employees trained
  • Partner with Training Managers to develop programs that are in line with global initiatives
  • Coordinate and Manage training calendar in support of business priorities, seasonal launches, events and new store openings
  • Adjust priorities and manage time to support the business needs most effectively
  • Track effectiveness of training programs, and provide regular follow-up to sustain learnings

Profile

  • Advanced English
  • Portuguese (nice to have)
  • 5 Years of Training experience, preferably in a luxury or specialty retail environment
  • Strong passion and awareness for the luxury fashion industry
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of the Dior brand image
  • Ability to develop interactive, creative, and comprehensive training programs in a variety of areas
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to listen actively to all and communicate material and instructions to others
  • Ability to follow the company’s policies and procedures
  • Strong computer presentation skills with an emphasis on Powerpoint and Excel
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel frequently
