Position

As the IT Assistant Manager at Christian Dior Couture Korea, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the brand's entire IT landscape, reporting directly to the IT Manager. This includes managing IT infrastructure and workplace environments across both corporate offices and retail locations. Your primary responsibilities will involve ensuring exceptional IT service delivery, efficient end-user support, and robust cybersecurity. A strong emphasis on IT Service Management, infrastructure stability, and proactive cybersecurity measures is essential to protect the organization's digital assets. This role also involves fostering a strong cybersecurity culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating security risks, and safeguarding the brand's digital assets and reputation. We are seeking a potential leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Job responsibilities

Leading IT Security & Cyber Defense:

    • Act as the primary local liaison for all IT security matters, fostering strong collaboration with regional and global security teams.
    • Support local security operations, encompassing diligent monitoring, efficient incident response coordination, and proactive vulnerability management.
    • Ensure rigorous data compliance and protection efforts, strictly adhering to regional guidelines and local regulatory requirements, including assuring compliance with Korean regulations (eg, K-ISMS)and coordinating information security-related audits and remediation activities.
    • Assist the IT Manager and the regional security team in the successful deployment of critical security projects and initiatives tailored for the Korean market.

IT Infrastructure & Digital Workplace Governance:

    • Drive the stable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure across corporate offices and retail stores, including meeting systems, server rooms, and network systems.
    • Lead the end-to-end operation of the Client Service Center, overseeing L1–L2 user support, onsite IT infrastructure and call center/CTI systems, while driving strong collaboration with country and central teams.
    • Govern all infrastructure changes, releases, and configuration management processes to proactively mitigate operational risks and minimize disruption.

Store/Event IT Project Management:

    • Lead IT projects for store openings, events and infrastructure rollouts.
    • Oversee the end to end delivery management including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination and communication with the region and central team.

Asset Management:

    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement and deployment to maintenance, refresh, and secure disposal, ensuring optimal value and compliance.
    • Ensure all IT asset management activities comply with internal policies, industry best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Analyze asset data to identify trends, forecast needs, and contribute to IT budgeting and strategic planning.

Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in IT support, preferably in retail industry.
  • Practical experience across a wide spectrum of security technologies such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint and Network Detection & Response (EDR/NDR) systems and Cloud security frameworks.
  • Experience with K-ISMS certification processes and qualification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in ITSM principles and tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
