Job responsibilities

[BASED IN SHANGHAI]

Sales Reporting & Forecasting

  • Analyse and consolidate weekly actual and forecast sales reports from multiple markets.
  • Produce a clear regional overview for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

Competitor Insights

  • Gather and consolidate competitor information.
  • Maintain updated competitor dashboards for management review.

Business Review Preparation and Market Visit Support

  • Support in preparation and coordination of regular business review decks.
  • Ensure materials are accurate, visually compelling, and aligned with executive priorities.
  • Provide management with structured information packs for market visits.

Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Assist the CFO with ad hoc business analysis requests, delivering timely and actionable insights.

Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 years of progressive experience in strategy department of a multinational company within a fast-paced environment (ideally consumer goods or luxury), or in strategy consultancy firm.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, ThinkCell; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to learn from senior leadership.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage.
