For our Head Office in Munich, we are looking for a “VIE – Financial Controller” starting July / August 2026, with passion and drive who are citizens of the European Union. You support the business in several aspects, from monthly finance and contribution to reporting budget and ad-hoc finance analysis. You work closely with the accounting back office to ensure financial statement accuracy.

VIE meaning: As a French company, we are proud to take part the Voluntary International Program (VIE). A VIE allows you to undertake a secure professional assignment abroad and offers you the chance to get to know new cultures while gaining professional experience. The conditions to be eligible for the VIE Program are the following:

  • Being aged between 18 and 28
  • Holding a French or an European citizenship
  • Determinate duration for this position it is 1 year
  • Available beginning of July/August 2026

Job responsibilities

As a Financial Controller you will support the Head of Finance in overseeing all financial controlling activities of Central Eastern Europe Zone. In this zone we manage 6 countries, task and responsibilities are split among 2 Financial Controllers taking care of 3 countries each. This role is critical in ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and strategic insight across the zone.

  • Preparing weekly sales performance report for the management
  • Participating in month-end closing activities
  • Preparing monthly reporting on Revenue, Stock & Expenses
  • Preparing monthly commentary on actuals vs budget spend
  • Preparing monthly reporting for the French parent company LVMH
  • Participating in budget planning and assisting in creating budget presentations
  • Collaborate with Head of Departments/Budget Owners to review and challenge their monthly expenditures and refine quarterly/semester forecasts.
  • Analysing KPIs, cooperating in audits and assisting with ad hoc business and financial control projects
  • Support implementations of Financial Controls and assist with Adhoc IT projects

Profile

  • Graduated from a master's degree of a business school or a university
  • First experience in a similar position within an international group is a plus
  • Financial Statements, Accounting and Analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and agile mindset
  • Excellent Excel and financial software skills, experience with SAP is a plus
  • Collaborative: You build strong relationships and encourage cross-functional communication
  • Proactive: You take initiative and work independently to solve problems
  • Confident: You are comfortable in handling multiple projects/tasks easily
  • Organised: You manage time effectively and maintain a structured approach

  • Communicative: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, additional language would be a plus
