Christian Dior G.K. is seeking Hospitality Senior Manager!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Hospitality Manager will be a pivotal leader, overseeing all cafe & restaurant operations for Christian Dior Couture across Japan. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for luxury hospitality & a deep understanding of the Japanese market.

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Direct & manage all aspects of Dior's cafe & restaurant operations in Japan, ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards, service excellence, & operational efficiency.
    • Develop & implement innovative strategies to enhance the overall customer experience, focusing on impeccable service, unique culinary offerings, & an atmosphere that embodies Dior's luxury aesthetic.
    • Coordinate with Dior HQ Hospitality teams as well as Pic teams located in France on the product offer, services guidelines & overall Marketing & Branding activation plans
    • Monitor & analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all hospitality venues, identifying areas for improvement & implementing corrective actions to achieve financial targets & operational goals.
    • Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, & hygiene regulations.
  • Strategic Coordination & Collaboration:
    • Act as the primary liaison between the hospitality department & other critical functions at Japan Head office, including in particular Retail, Clienteling, Marketing & Communications, HR, IT & Finance to ensure seamless integration of hospitality initiatives with broader brand strategies.
    • Lead the planning & execution of all Food & Beverage (F&B) -related activities, ensuring meticulous attention to detail & alignment with Dior's brand image.
    • Collaborate closely with global & regional teams to adapt & implement best practices in hospitality management, ensuring a consistent luxury experience across all touchpoints.
    • Foster strong relationships with suppliers & vendors to ensure the highest quality of ingredients & services
    • Monitor F&B business partners collaboration & support
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, train, & mentor a high-performing team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, & continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews & provide constructive feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth & career development within the organization.
    • Inspire & motivate the team to deliver exceptional service & uphold Dior's esteemed reputation.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop & manage annual budgets for all hospitality operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility & maximizing profitability.
    • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or guest experience.
    • Analyze financial reports & market trends to make informed decisions & optimize business performance.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Fluent in both Japanese & English (written & spoken) is essential. French a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-unit F&B operations.
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-end restaurants, cafes, or hotel F&B departments, preferably within the luxury retail or fashion industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop & execute strategic plans, drive operational excellence, & achieve financial targets.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various internal & external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive & innovative approach to challenges.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills essential for motivating & engaging a diverse team, coupled with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Profound understanding of the luxury market, customer expectations, & service standards in Japan. A solid understanding of Japanese F&B customer behavior & the local Hospitality landscape, which is critical for localizing strategies.
  • Multinational Experience: Prior experience working for multinational companies a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
