Position
This position is responsible for supporting merchandising strategy in Women’s RTW & Shoes by analysing all aspects of sales performance, supporting buying and distribution plan, and identifying opportunities.
Job responsibilities
In-season management
- Support building initial allocation strategies for seasonal and permanent products to maximize sales and achieve target
- Support delivering key messages of each collection during Collection Training to retail team
- Prepare Merchandising Map Book for every collection
- Manage Trunk show samples by monitoring delivery and arranging rotation according to OTO schedule & Presales plan
- Partner with Supply Chain team to ensure the optimal stock flow and maximize sales opportunities across seasons
- Work closely with Retail team & E-Commerce team to maximize the sales and sell through in line with the global guidelines
- Collaborate with VM team on product launches, new store opening, events, and monthly floor-set
- Monitor sales and inventory, executing actions including rebalancing to maximize sales and sell through
- Support special events by executing & planning product assortment, monitoring stock flow to achieve event target
- Support total Women’s Team for shared tasks and reports
Buying support
- Support preparation for Seasonal Buy through sales analysis, product strategy development, and product opportunities identification by collaborating with the Manager
- Assist seasonal buy process and follow up on deliverables during the Showroom, including system uploads
Market Intelligence
- Identify key product trends, competitors’ pricing and launch strategies
- Consolidate and deliver constructive feedback on product and collection
Sales reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for both overall business & seasonal collection
Profile
- Fashion related major is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of merchandising experience in fashion and luxury brands
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel and Powerpoint)
- In-depth understanding of local fashion market and commercial acumen
- Proficient in both speaking and written English
- Mobility to make frequent domestic and oversea trip
- Agility to work in dynamic environments
- Presentation skills to deliver product knowledge and styling
