YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer within our Continuous Improvement Department, you will be involved in projects aiming to optime our luxury leather goods manufacturing and supply chain processes. Your mission will be to identify and eliminate waste, streamline complex workflows, and elevate both operational efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully implementing Lean methodologies and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a high-craftsmanship environment.

Job responsibilities

Your impact

  • Lead and execute advanced Lean manufacturing initiatives across our leather goods production sites.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and precise mapping of current processes, including advanced value stream mapping, to identify and strategically address waste.
  • Facilitate and lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct data-driven root cause analysis for implementing effective, sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Optimize material flow and production scheduling to mitigate bottlenecks and elevate operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and coaching on Lean principles and tools to colleagues cultivating a mindset of continuous improvement and problem-solving.

Profile

Competencies:  

  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience of advanced Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Just-in-Time, Poka-Yoke, SMED).
  • Proven ability to lead and successfully implement complex process improvement projects with significant, quantifiable results within a high-quality, low-volume production setting.
  • Excellent analytical, target oriented and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a highly skilled, cross-functional team dedicated to excellence.

Languages: Fluent in Italian and English, French is a plus
