YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT 

 
The Deputy Store Director supports the Store Director in driving the overall performance of the store and ensuring excellence in client experience, team management, and operations. 

Acting as a key partner, the Deputy Store Director contributes to the implementation of the store strategy, leads the team on the floor, and ensures the highest standards of service, operations, and brand image. 

The role plays a critical part in team development, operational efficiency, and business performance, while ensuring consistency with the brand’s standards and objectives. 

Job responsibilities

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

- Support the Store Director in developing and implementing store-specific strategies aligned with overarching vision and business objectives.

- data-contrast="auto">Contribute to the analysis and the elaboration of sales figures, KPIs, and objectives.

- Support the execution of action plans based on the market calendar.

- Support the execution of Store’ merchandising guidelines.

- Be aware of the competitive landscape and market trends.

- Develop relationships with other Store Managers to optimize business opportunities and Client experience

- Help implement clienteling strategies to gather and utilize client feedback effectively, driving continuous improvement and enhancing client satisfaction, as well as establishing long-term relationships to build clients loyalty.

- Ensure the highest level of client experience is consistently provided, creating a memorable and personalized experience for every client.

 

STORE OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

- Assist the Store Director in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth floor management and efficient functioning of the store. 

- Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures to maintain a consistent brand experience across all locations.

- Help maintain a well-organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment to attract and retain clients.

 

TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

- Collaborate with the Store Director in building, leading, and developing a high-performing store team.

- Provide support in coaching, training, and performance management to enhance team members’ growth and success within the store.

- Is actively present on the floor, has the responsibility to develop middle management team to ensure they deliver the operational activities for own department.

 

SALES AND PROFITABILITY

- Work closely with the Store Director to drive sales performance and profitability by achieving store sales targets and optimizing store layout.

- Assist in monitoring and controlling store expenses to ensure adherence to the budget and maximize profitability. 

 

Store Director Absence Coverage

- Act as the primary point of contact and assume responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Director, ensuring continuity and seamless management.

Profile

- 7+ years of experience in retail, including a first management experience

- Strong business sense and ability to drive results

- High sensitivity to client experience and client loyalty

- Strong leadership and people development capabilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational skills, sense of priorities and agility

- Detail oriented and highly organized

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

- Client obsessed mindset with strong impact orientation

- Adaptability and growth mindset
