Job responsibilities

We are seeking to recruit a Learning, Development & Quality Manager responsible for overseeing and managing the learning and development initiatives and quality assurance processes within the Maison. This role is essential to ensuring that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively, and that the Maison maintains high-quality standards across all operations. Also assists in implementation of systems and programs in employee relations and revenue generation, thereby assisting the Director of HR in accomplishing Maison and department goals and objectives.

  • Analyse current performance levels, identify skill gaps, and determine the training and development requirements of the Maison. 
  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies: Design and execute programmes to address the identified training needs, aligning with the Maison’s goals and objectives. 
  • Manage training budget
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes: Develop and implement quality control procedures and systems to ensure consistency and high standards across the Maison. 
  • Facilitate Ambassadeur development: Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to Ambassadeurs. 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness: Monitor the success of learning and development programmes by measuring performance, gathering feedback from participants, and analysing training outcomes. 
  • Manage and conduct the Induction and Orientation program for new Ambassadeurs.
  • Assess and conduct training related to Leading Quality Assurance audit, to ensure the set standards are aligned and executed in Maison.
  • Coordinates and organises Food Safety audits and relevant training.
  • Coordinate with Director of Engineering on tasks related to Earth Check standards and audits to ensure the sustainability goals are achieved.

Profile

  • Degree in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Education, or any other relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a learning and development role, preferably with experience in quality assurance and management.
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar position in a luxury property.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design,
    and various training methods.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple
    projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
    applications.
  • Experience in pre-opening of a hotel/resort.
  • Attention to detail and an excellent ability to manage priorities
    independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, are essential.
