Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Assistant Manager to join the technical team and support our IT system infrastructure domain. This role is crucial for enhancing our IT system infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technical opportunities & objectives, including Identity and Access Management (IDP & IAM), Server infrastructure core model & operation excellence. Proficiency in Microsoft Servers & Active Directory, Azure Cloud Computing/Entra ID/AAD, OKTA(IDP/SSO/MFA)

Role & Responsibilities

Identity and Access Management (IAM)

  • Active Directory Management: Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user account management, group policies, and organizational unit structures
  • OKTA Management: Manage Okta IDP, SSO & MFA policies according from Group & CISO strategy. Integration for third-party applications and ensure smooth authentication processes
  • Server Management & Troubleshoot
  • Server Deployment and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems. Ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Server configuration standard: Help to define, manage server core model, features evolution and technical roadmap
  • Backup and Recovery on hybrid environments: Perform regular backups and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity

Azure & MoveToCloud

  • Migration Support: Assist with the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms, primarily focusing on Azure
  • Azure Services: Support common Azure services, including computing, AVD, Azure file sync, storage accounts, and networking. Collaborate with Cloud MSP to develop and implement
  • Virtualization and Traditional Server Hardware
  • Virtualization: Assist with VMware vSphere / HyperV environments, including virtual machine management, security/vulnerabilities remediation, resource pooling, performance optimization and decommission
  • Dell Hardware and Storage: Provide support for Dell hardware servers and storage solutions. Perform routine maintenance, files server moving to cloud and troubleshooting
  • Technical Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system architecture, configurations, operation and support steps

 

Job responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, engineering lead or a related role
  • Solid experience in managing daily operation, configuration, project experience of Windows Servers, Identity solution and Cloud Platforms (Especially Azure)
  • Strong technical skills in Windows Server & Okta administration, including Active Directory, OKTA IDP/SSO/MFA. Knowledge in Okta IAG/IAM is a plus
  • Good understanding of cloud migration processes and Azure services. GCP experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere and virtualization concepts; Dell hardware technologies
  • Proficient in configuring and managing server with strong security mindset and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to organize and present the domain topic clearly to Asia regions
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Relevant certifications such as are preferred:

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator AZ-900 or above
  • Okta Certified Administrator/Professional (OCA/OCP) or related
