POSITION

 

LVMH Fashion Group Middle East oversees the 4 Fashion brands CELINE, GIVENCHY, LOEWE and KENZO for the GCC regions (UAE, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain).

The Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager on the UAE entities specifically.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Reconcile AP and AR.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Prepare Full Set of Accounting functions (AR and AP, GL, fixed assets).
  • Perform detailed general ledger account analysis for responsible areas.
  • Manage process of intercompany rebillings with various intercompany partners.
  • Responsible for accounts reconciliation and journal entries during month end closing.
  • Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations and proactively follow up on any outstanding items to achieve a clean position for every month end closing.
  • Prepare month end reporting in timely manner with high level of accuracy.
  • Preparation of taxation returns and schedules.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and follow-up with the concerned parties to clear all recon ítems.
  • Liaise with external auditor on annual audit, statutory reporting, and other local compliance works

Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience
  • Rigorous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on and organized.
  • Experience in Microsoft D365 and Syrus preferred.
  • Computer skills: must be advanced (proficient in Excel).
  • Willing to teamwork and to take initiative to improve and develop new tools.
  • English mandatory.
