The Role
As IT Store Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives for our retail network, including store openings, closures, renovations/relocations, pop-ups, and store events. You will coordinate internal IT teams and external partners, oversee on-site execution when needed, and ensure projects are delivered with rigor, transparency, and a strong service mindset.

Project Delivery & Governance
- Own the full project lifecycle from initiation to handover (scope, planning, execution, go-live, and stabilization).
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs; ensure disciplined follow-up and timely escalation.
- Coordinate cross-functional IT teams (network, infrastructure, workplace/field support, security, applications, POS/payments, telecom) to ensure alignment and delivery readiness.
- Lead site readiness and cutover planning, including vendor scheduling, on-site coordination, and go-live support.
- Ensure technology deployments meet LVMH standards for security, reliability, and operational continuity.
- Provide clear, consistent stakeholder communication through status reports, meeting notes, and executive-level summaries where required.
- Drive post-go-live validation and ensure a structured transition to support teams (documentation, ownership, and stabilization tracking).
- Maintain a high level of service and responsiveness, proactively managing expectations and change requests.
Technical Expertise
- Provide technical input and hands-on support for retail hardware (networking, POS, payment systems, printers, scanners, mobile devices).
- Ensure vendors deliver with quality and punctuality equipment configuration, shipping, and deployment logistics.
- Training vendor to offer hyper-care support during store go-lives and assist with knowledge transfer to helpdesk teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
Vendor & Field Services Management
- Manage external vendors for services (such as internet, telephony, low voltage cabling, depot, staging, installation, and hyper-care) to ensure quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and compliance with internal processes.
- Supervise on-site technicians and third-party field services during installations and critical project phases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of vendor operating models (SOPs, checklists, SLAs, escalation paths).
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation (as-built, inventory updates, installation reports, support handover materials).
Budget & Financial Tracking
- Support project estimating, quote review, and budget tracking; monitor spend and forecast cost-to-complete.
- Identify financial risks early and propose mitigation plans while maintaining delivery quality.
Profile
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally within retail or client-facing environments.
- Solid understanding of store technology ecosystems (connectivity, networking, POS environments, devices/peripherals, on-site constraints).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with structure, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering projects for luxury retail and/or multi-brand organizations.
- Familiarity with POS and payment ecosystems, store network/Wi-Fi deployments, and retail security standards.
- Demonstrated experience managing store openings/closures at scale (multiple concurrent sites).
- Experience working with field service models and vendor governance (SLAs, KPIs, performance reviews).
- Ability to travel locally/regionally as required for key project milestones (site surveys, go-lives).

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000- $130,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
