Position

The position is based at our HQ in Rome and is part of the Global Omnichannel team. The Digital & Omnichannel Roadmap Project Manager will be a member of the Omnichannel team, responsible for the Digital & Omnichannel Project Management team, transformational roadmap coordination, and portfolio management. The team is responsible for planning and executing roadmap activities, working with Global and Zone Omnichannel and Clienteling teams, with the objective of delivering an exceptional customer experience informed by a comprehensive understanding of omnichannel business roadmap evolution.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global Omnichannel roadmap in alignment with the department's business growth objectives, prioritizing initiatives that drive revenue and enhance customer experience;
  • Lead the strategic delivery and execution of integrated projects across e-commerce, CRM, and in-store channels, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and improvement;
  • Lead executive roadmap communication and coordination with internal stakeholders (Omnichannel, IT, Supply Chain, Digital, Legal, etc.) to ensure project alignment and facilitate decision making;
  • Translate complex business needs into clearly defined functional requirements and use cases to facilitate seamless execution by IT development teams;
  • Expertly manage the full project lifecycle, leveraging a strong command of project development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) to ensure efficient and effective project execution;
  • Establish clear processes to ensure collaboration and stability across teams for both new projects and day-to-day operations in the Omnichannel environment;
  • Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions that align with the omnichannel roadmap and budget;
  • Implement an iterative approach to project management, continuously monitoring progress, gathering feedback, and incorporating learnings into subsequent phases to optimize outcomes and adapt to evolving business needs.

Profile

  • The position requires an individual who works well in changing environment, fast and dynamic;
  • 8+ years of successful experience in delivering Digital and Omnichannel projects within international contexts, including portfolio management, agency selection, and ensuring compliance with digital and omnichannel regulatory standards;
  • Proven positive track record in launching large-scale transformative projects within a cross-department framework (IT, Supply Chain, Communication, Legal, etc.);
  • Strong communication skills, including writing accurate and concise reports as well as business presentations;
  • Significant analytical skills to transform data insights into actionable recommendations and strategic action plans;
  • Problem-solving-oriented mindset and ability to identify opportunities to build new omnichannel and business solutions for the Brand;
  • Ability to manage several and cross-area projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, good at prioritization;
  • Team and Budget management;
  • Italian and English proficient.

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Since 2020, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, fourth generation of the Fendi family, is Artistic Director of Jewellery. Today Fendi is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.
