Position

Reporting to the Zone President, Southeast Asia & Australia, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the Visual Merchandising styles and standards are of high quality and reflect company and local directives across the zone.

He/She will lead and manage a team to deal with creating window displays, special projects, guidelines, and strategies for all the collections, ensuring global consistency of the brand image within the store networks. The VM team will inspire clients and to showcase our products and our history in the most attractive way.

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and production of all in-store props and special projects 
  • Working closely with HQ Visual Merchandising for development & implementation of Visual Merchandising guidelines for all stores, new store openings and special projects 
  • Working with vendors to source and produce necessary window and in-store visuals and props 
  • Planning & management of Visual Merchandising budget 
  • Set up of store layouts/ plans / window measurements 
  • Responsible for all logistics, invoicing, and timely supplier payments. 
  • Communication with retail, merchandising and visual merchandiser about correct hardware, new developments, and seasonal windows 
  • Responsible for special projects/ layouts & simulations and renderings. 
  • Working closely with communication team re image production for lightboxes/ posters etc. 
  • Prepare and allocate all training material for retail and visual merchandiser on Visual Merchandising guidelines, window displays, props and fixtures usage 
  • Involve in discussion with HQ on new projects/windows 
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of country Visual Merchandising functionally 

Profile

  • Minimum 5-7 years of related managerial experience in visual merchandising 
  • Related Diploma in Art or Visual Communication 
  • Flair for creativity with commercial sense 
  • Analytical and detail oriented 
  • Outgoing, dependable, ability to motivate and engage team members 
  • Strong organizing and follow up skills 
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills 
  • Proficient in MS office especially MS excel

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style. Called by the legendary five Fendi sisters, the collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld began back in 1965 and lasted 54 years. In 1992, Silvia Venturini Fendi seconded him in the Artistic Direction; in 1994, she is given the direction of Accessories and later of Menswear. In 2000, the LVMH group acquires Fendi becoming in 2001 its majority shareholder. Appointed in 2020, Kim Jones held the role of Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear until 2024. Since 2020, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, fourth generation of the Fendi family, is Artistic Director of Jewellery. Today Fendi is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.
