Position

The Wholesale Trainee will provide essential administrative, operational and logistical coordination, and analytical support to the Wholesale team, contributing to the efficient management and growth of Givenchy's wholesale business. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury fashion wholesale, learn core business processes, and support strategic account management functions within a renowned fashion house.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

I. Market Preparation

· Coordinate market appointment scheduling and showroom seller assignments.

· Support Order setup and data entry.

· Compile data on selling trends and top styles for market prep.

· Assist with scheduling Paris Showroom Shoots and logistical planning for Moda Operandi Trunk Shows.

· Facilitate the creation, setup, and VIP login processes for new wholesale accounts.

II. Market

· Perform data entry and compile master orders.

· Assist with order note generation, order entry, and communication of validation/confirmation.

III. Post Market

· Support data entry for updating the Master Budget File, RTV Tracker, and Distribution records.

· Prepare and distribute final PDF order confirmations to the Paris Shoot Team.

IV. Marketing

· Maintain the Sample Tracker and Co-op Marketing Tracker.

· Provide logistical and administrative support for marketing campaigns.

· Organize high-resolution assets for sharing based on buys.

· Monitor and communicate product launch dates.

· Assist with updating the 360 calendar.

V. Selling & Reporting

· Weekly:

o Extract sales data from Skypad to update Style Selling Files and the Sell-Through Target Report

· Monthly:

o Assist with monthly updates to the SIS PowerPoint presentations, including pictures and status.

o Support the creation of the HQ Seasonal Sell Through Report, detailing selling by category and partner feedback.

o Assist with distribution updates for the LVMH Inc file.

VI. Beginning of Season Launch

· Distribute copy information and manage ongoing updates from HQ.

· Monitor the online launch of new styles by partners.

· Schedule PK (Product Knowledge) trainings in stores and prepare training decks.

· Assist with scheduling travel to ensure visits to key doors.

· Facilitate VM (Visual Merchandising) Guideline communications to store teams.

· Assist with EDI outreach for US major partners and secure PO#s for CAD/LATM partners.

VII. In-Season Wrap Up

· Maintain the RTV (Return to Vendor) Tracker and Reorder Tracker, and monitor confirmed RTV/swaps for in-season action.

· Assist with EDI Extension Requests and track/monitor shipping status reports.

· Prepare store visit briefings and support VM updates before executive visits.

· Keep Partner Contact Lists updated for Majors, Specialty accounts, and Prospects.

· Provide logistical coordination for client activation, events, and sell days in local and key markets.

VIII. End of Season

· Assist in communicating final lists and markdown/break dates with partners.

· Support the actioning of SOR (Sale or Return), Consignment, or End of Season RTVs.

Job responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (or recent graduate) in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential; advanced Excel skills are a plus.

· Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn about the luxury wholesale industry.

· A passion for fashion and a genuine interest in the Givenchy brand.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

· Resilient with a positive "can-do" attitude, contributing to a collaborative team environment
