Maison Guerlain is looking for a Pricing Analyst (F/H/X) to join our teams

 

Based at the international headquarters at La Samaritaine (Paris), within the International department, under the responsibility of the Pricing Manager, you are in charge of the pricing strategy for a range of countries in order to assist with strategic decision-making.

In close collaboration with the Guerlain subsidiaries (General Manager, marketing teams), you will need to successfully carry out the annual price increases as well as determine the pricing of new innovations in local currency (competition analysis, sharing of strategy, understanding of local and regional challenges).

A competitive study/monitoring is essential. You will be the designated pricing referent for all departments at headquarters as well as for regions/subsidiaries:

 

1. Management of the pricing strategy for a geographical area.

  • Analyze Guerlain's pricing positions in different countries to define the appropriate strategies in line with the overall strategy.
  • Create price simulation dashboards and ensure their update.
  • Communicate the price lists and ensure their maintenance.

 

2. Implementation of competitive monitoring.

  • Identification of product innovations.
  • Identification of competitors' strategic price variations.

 

3. Use of pricing management tools.

  • You will take charge of the new pricing tool developed on Anaplan
  • You will optimize the existing reports on Excel et Power BI
  • You will propose new analysis and management solutions using Power BI, and support the skill development of the Pricing department.

Job responsibilities

  • Proficiency of the standard office tools (Powerpoint, Excel) and visualization tools (Power BI, Anaplan or similar)
  • A strong numerical aptitude, reactivity, curiosity, precision and independence, will be your assets in this position.
  • Good communication skills, team-working ability and a proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in French & English, considering the international context of the company.
