Position

This role is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and production of in-store visual merchandising installations in Kendo’s APAC region. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising APAC, this role will support VM initiatives for new opening, new launches and seasonal updates for a multi-brand, multi-channel portfolio. It involves extensive coordination between fixture companies, retailers, and internal partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and Manage Projects
    • Follow through launch calendar to develop and update space plannings and animations for APAC regions
    • Take charge of APAC ad-hoc business activities including animations, in-store workshops, pop-ups, and store renovation projects, ensuring they receive the necessary VM support.
  •  ⁠Collaboration and Alignment
    • Collaborate closely with the Global Visual Merchandising team and Regional Brand teams to align and execute regional VM strategies, supporting seasonal visual merchandising initiatives for gondolas and shop-in-shop environments, encompassing both two-dimensional and three-dimensional assets.
    • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors or consultants to ensure clear project briefing, production, installation timelines, engineering specifications, budget management, and prototype approvals.
  • Vendor and Execution Management
    • Coordinate with local vendors in each region to ensure design accuracy, component compliance, die-line precision, and effective in-store execution.
    • Participate in bi-weekly calls with internal partners and external vendors to ensure smooth communication and project progression.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Manage the purchase order (PO) and payment processes, and diligently update the VM budget tracker to reflect accurate financial oversight.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years proven visual merchandising experience at corporate level and multi-store environment
  • ⁠Highly independent, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain effective process systems, documentation, and support tools.
  • Proficient in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects with a systematic and professional approach.
  • Exceptional creativity with a keen sense for beauty and aesthetics.
  • Positive, can-do spirit with a passion for the brand and an understanding of Kendo’s culture.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Senior Executive, Visual Merchandising
