We are looking for an Architect to support the design, production, and implementation of both office and special projects, ensuring alignment with LOEWE’s corporate guidelines and brand values at all times.
As part of the Architecture team, you will be based at our Madrid HQ and report to the Head of Special Projects.
Job responsibilities
Your role will be:
- Project management for the conceptual design and layout development of both special projects and new LOEWE offices. Responsible for creating design proposals that are feasible in terms of execution, budget, and timeline. Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings, prototypes, and presentations.
- Development of creative moodboards and sourcing of visual references to support the design process and communicate ideas clearly. Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to explain project concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Interdepartmental coordination to gather project requirements and ensure that all needs are addressed and met.
- Liaison with external partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout all project phases.
- Site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Support in research and sourcing of new materials, furniture, and innovative techniques. Stay up to date with trends in design, art, fashion, and architecture, and apply this knowledge to enhance office and special projects.
Profile
What is important for the role:
- 3-5 years of previous experience as an architect, with a strong focus on office design projects, as well as experience in ephemeral architecture and/or retail projects.
- Proficient in graphic representation skills including 2D drawings (Autocad), 3D drawings (SketchUp, 3D Studio, Rhino) and Adobe (Photoshop, lllustrator and InDesign). Office package including Excel
- Be up to date of design, art, fashion and architecture tendencies
- Team-work and good communication skills
- Creative problem solver
- Analytical and strong organization skills
- Creativity and innovation highly valued. A portfolio will be appreciated.
- Advanced level of Spanish and English is mandatory
