Job responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute client events to support client development initiatives, prioritizing VIC retention and potential client recruitment.
• Assist the Event Manager in handling all key tasks required for client event execution, including catering and entertainment arrangements, venue research, CRM sample management, invitation handling, and guest transportation coordination.
• Support the preparation of presentations for HQ and the development of operational guidelines for stores.
• Ensure smooth event planning and operations through effective communication with HQ CRM/Client experience team, Stores, Retail, MD/VM, and Marketing.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends related to client events and promotional initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement to achieve KPI targets, implement enhancements, and deliver more elevated events.
Profile
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years+ experience in client events and retail activations
• Cross-functional & external vendor leadership
• Business level English proficiency (verbal and written communication skills)
Preferred Qualifications
• Problem Solving: Define and analyze, solve the problem with effective/creative solutions timely and proactively. Able to see/identify hidden problems/issues.
• Organizational Agility: Get things done across boundaries by building constrictive and effective relationship.
• Dealing with ambiguity: Able to cope with the change effectively and decide and proceed without having the total picture
• Conflict Management: Steps up to conflicts, seeing them as opportunities. Drive for a solution.
• Manage good balance between anticipating future consequences/trends and day-to-day details
• Interpersonal and Communication skills: Get messages across that have the desired effect in both Japanese and English
• Experience in luxury fashion maison and leading clienteling projects is a plus.
