MAIN PURPOSE:
The Vice President, Merchandising leads the strategic product vision for LOEWE across the Americas, ensuring the Maison’s collections resonate with the regional client while remaining deeply aligned with the global brand direction.
This role is responsible for shaping the merchandising strategy across all categories, driving commercial performance while preserving the integrity, creativity, and desirability of the brand. The Vice President will oversee category performance across Retail in the United States, Canada, and future markets, guiding product assortment, inventory strategy, and pricing architecture to support sustainable growth.
Working closely with the global teams in Paris and Madrid, this leader will translate the global collection vision into a regional merchandising strategy that reflects the unique needs of the Americas client and market. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across Retail, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, CRM, Training, and Supply Chain to ensure a cohesive and elevated client experience.
At its core, the Vice President, Merchandising will champion product excellence, inspire teams, and ensure that the LOEWE universe is expressed consistently across all touchpoints
Job responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product & Merchandising Strategy
• Define and lead the regional merchandising strategy across all product categories, aligning global collection vision with the Americas market opportunities.
• Drive long-term product direction that strengthens brand desirability while delivering
sustainable commercial performance.
• Develop and oversee the three-year line planning framework and regional pricing
architecture.
• Identify emerging market trends, client insights, and competitive dynamics to inform
strategic product opportunities.
• Ensure the assortment reflects both the creative ambition of the Maison and the needs of the regional client.
Business Performance
• Own category performance across sales, margin, and inventory productivity for Retail in the
United States and Canada and further markets upon expansion in the Americas.
• Monitor sales and inventory performance to optimize product allocation, assortment, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective inventory flow and
distribution strategies.
• Translate product insights into actionable strategies that support business growth.
Global Collaboration
• Partner closely with the Central Merchandising teams in Paris to ensure alignment on
collection strategy and product storytelling.
• Serve as the regional voice of the client and market, bringing insights that inform global product evolution.
• Lead the regional market process, ensuring clear feedback loops between the Americas and global teams.
Brand & Client Experience
• Partner with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Retail leadership to elevate product storytelling and drive client engagement.
• Ensure consistent expression of the Maison’s brand identity across all merchandising
touchpoints.
• Contribute to initiatives that strengthen LOEWE’s positioning as a leading luxury house within the region.
Leadership
• Lead and develop a high-performing merchandising organization.
• Set clear priorities and strategic direction while fostering a culture of collaboration,
accountability, and creativity.
• Mentor and develop future leaders within the organization, strengthening bench strength across the merchandising function.

Professional Experience
• Significant experience in senior merchandising leadership roles within fashion, accessories, footwear, or luxury retail.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-category product strategies within a direct retail business model.
• Experience partnering with global design and merchandising teams within an international organization.
• Strong understanding of luxury retail environments and evolving client expectations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

The compensation for this position ranges from $250,000- $275,000 per year. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
