Our Distribution Planning department is looking for an intern to join us and support the team. If you are a fan of LOEWE, this is great opportunity to gain experience with a leading luxury fashion house.
Job responsibilities
About your role:
- Analyze historical outbound data to identify volume patterns, seasonality, and variability drivers.
- Develop a weekly Forecast Outbound Plan template by region, including clear assumptions and drivers.
- Coordinate weekly with Distribution Planning to consolidate the outbound forecast.
- Align the agreed forecast with Logistics to validate processing capacity, staffing needs, and transport coordination (e.g., flight planning).
- Communicate expected weekly shipment volumes to regions, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Monitor unforeseen events (manual pushes, urgent reallocations, stock delays) and adjust the plan accordingly.
- Track weekly actual outbound volumes versus forecast.
- Perform deviation analysis during the week and propose mitigation actions (prioritization, acceleration, redistribution) to minimize gaps by week-end.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the forecasting methodology based on observed performance.
- Development of structured forecasting methodologies in a supply chain environment.
Profile
About you:
- Strong understanding of outbound flow dynamics, warehouse capacity constraints, and transport coordination.
- Ability to balance planning stability with operational flexibility.
- Advanced analytical skills in volume tracking, deviation analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Cross-functional communication and alignment with Logistics, Regions, and Central Teams.
- Exposure to operational risk management and mitigation strategies in distribution execution.
Internships at LOEWE:
- You must be currently enrolled in studies that allow you to sign an internship agreement (convenio de beca) with your university
- If you are from de UE you must have a student NIE. If you are from outside the UE, you need a working permit.
- Our internships run for 6-12 months, and the hours will generally be 9am to 6.30pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9am to 3pm on Fridays
