General Purpose of the Position: 

We are seeking a Retail Excellence Intern to join our Retail Excellence team at Loro Piana. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to our mission of operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. 

Job responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating training sessions, including sending invites, gathering materials, managing attendance, and liaising with catering and location vendors.
  • Assists with the creation of digital and manual training tools as needed (Product Maps, Quizzes, etc.)
  • Serve as the point of contact for the Retail Excellence inbox, addressing inquiries and directing them as needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage attendance reports, analyze data, and track key performance indicators.
  • Develop presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint to support team meetings, training sessions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional support during store visits and product knowledge trainings.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and facilitate smooth operations.

Profile

Skills and Abilities required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress
  • In-store retail experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and other digital tools
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Must be able and willing to travel to NYC office and local boutiques.

Compensation 

Loro Piana uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market-competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure. 
 
While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $20 USD per hour.
