Position

The FP&A Specialists supports the FP&A Manager in the planning and control process of the Financial and Commercial Area of Textile business and acts as a business partner for the Commercial Team.

Job responsibilities

  • Controls the Top Line by Commercial business units, monitoring actual performance vs previous years and Budget
  • Monitors the Commercial Margin performance, across multiple analytical dimensions
  • Controls the Operating expenses by business units, monitoring actual performance vs previous year and Budget
  • Supports the FP&A manager in the monthly P&L closing and financial reporting with variance analysis and performance insights, contributing to the reading of the business
  • Supports the commercial team, delivering standard reporting and analysis
  • Actively participates in the price list and Transfer Price processes, supporting the team and the business during the process
  • Supports the planning and budgeting processes in the financial and commercial area, contributing to the development of Top Line and Opex
  • Contributes to the definition of metrics and standard in the commercial and financial field with the aim to support the business in the interpretation of actions/initiatives/investments proposed by the Line by anticipating possible risks and opportunities
  • Supports the review of the periodic reporting system on commercial performance to support the business needs
  • Provides support in estimations on cash flow of the relevant cash items in the Commercial Area

Profile

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or similar
  • At least 3–4 years of experience in similar roles within Controlling departments
  • Excellent analytical skills and business oriented
  • Dynamic, proactive, team player and result oriented
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and reporting / BI tools
  • Good English, both spoken and written
