Job responsibilities

• Prepare Full Set of Accounting functions (AR, AP, GL, fixed assets)
• Responsible for month-end closing, accounts reconciliation and journal entries for South Asia entities, ensure full compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
• Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations and proactively follow up any outstanding items to achieve a clean position for every month end closing
• Prepare month end reporting and disclosure timely with high level of accuracy
• Work with external tax agent and outsource accounting service consultant for direct and indirect tax filing for South Asia entities
• Liaise with external auditor on annual audit, statutory reporting and other local compliance works
• Support supervisors on control compliance, system implementation, process enhancement projects and any ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance preferrable.
• Qualified CPA/ACCA/CPAA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting role.
• Excel skill is essential and SAP user is definitely an advantage.
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Previous experience in MNC, Retail and book closing experience for other Asian markets is highly preferred.
• Local compliance experience including tax filing and statutory reporting is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills, well-organized, self-motivated and attention to details.
