The Assistant PR and Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic public relations and communications efforts for Loro Piana across the dynamic Asia-Pacific region.

Reporting to the PR and Communications Manager, this position is instrumental in executing comprehensive PR initiatives, including high-profile events like Press Days and Milan Fashion Week, managing media relations, overseeing PR sample logistics, and collaborating closely with Loro Piana HQ, external agencies, and key internal stakeholders.

This role requires a passionate, detail-oriented professional with a solid industry network, a willingness to travel, and a deep understanding of the luxury fashion landscape.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist the PR and Communications Manager in the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive strategies and campaigns across the APAC region, aligning with brand objectives and standards.
  • Work closely with the PR and Communications Assistant, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Facilitate effective information exchange with Headquarters on all PR and communications related projects.
  • Support the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with key media, stylists, and talent profiles across APAC.
  • Provide event management support on PR related activation including Press Days, Store Opening Events, Pop-up Stores, Milan Fashion Week presentations, Regional and International Press Trips, etc., ensuring seamless coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the efficient and accurate management of PR samples, including rotation, tracking, and inventory, in close collaboration with the PR and Communications Assistant.
  • Drive the preparation of regular editorial planning and coverage report for HQ
  • Monitor overall PR and communications budget, ensuring financial efficiency and accurate record-keeping.
  • Create strategy to drive monthly brand visibility research analysis on DMR platform and work with the PR and Communications Manager, including also to work with agencies to create competitors’ analyses.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English and Mandarin required.
  • 6+ years’ experience in PR is required, experience in Influencer Marketing and Event Planning is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint for competent information communication and presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail industry.
  • A less experienced candidate may be considered for the Senior PR and Communications Specialist position.
