As the Senior Store Planning Manager, you will drive the overall store network development and to work closely with internal stakeholders and external business partners to manage the design, planning & execution of Louis Vuitton’s store concept for existing and new stores.
Job responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive and communicate global design guidelines and standards to ensure each Louis Vuitton store deliver the brand’s aesthetic and quality vision.
- Manage entire project cycle from conception to close out to ensure timely delivery of projects in highest quality within budget.
- Identify and explore opportunities for delivering bespoke store concepts that meet country needs and manage costs, schedule, design and quality control of projects together with global store planning team, local teams and business partners (i.e., local architects, contractors & direct vendors).
- Continuously optimize the design concepts and ensure that they are executed to the standards set by budget targets.
- Leading, managing and overseeing assigned architects, consultants, fit Out and millwork contractors with store planning VP.
- Liaise closely with local landlords & authorities to ensure proper guidelines and all relevant start up information are in place for all projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with consultants, contractors, and landlords to ensure compliance with Vuitton’s standards, identify & resolve outstanding issues and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Co-ordinate with suppliers of millwork and furniture to prepare designs, manage achieving authorizations for proceeding in the realization of the projects.
- Manage direct order from HQ nominated suppliers include logistic & custom clearance to ensure on time delivery for satisfactory store opening.
- Manage challenges in project lifecycle, identify potential crisis and define mitigation plan.
- Frequent travel required – approx. 30%
Profile
Key Qualifications
- Architectural background in high quality facades and interiors and store planning project management experience.
- Degree holder in Architecture, Interior Design or Project Management in Design & Construction.
- Experience of luxury retail design is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of standard quality means and methods, and materials in construction and millwork required for a luxury environment.
- Resourceful & driven individual who can communicate effectively to all levels of stakeholders.
- Analytical, strong project management and execution skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and is adaptable to fast & changing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, 3D software and Photoshop.
