Position

Louis Vuitton is seeking an innovative and meticulous Sales Audit Analyst to join our Sales Audit team based in New York City. The Sales Audit Analyst will be responsible for sales, bank, and general ledger reconciliations. This will include several entities throughout North and South America. As a Sales Audit Analyst, you will be reconciling sales in all forms of tender to payments received, investigating discrepancies, verifying credit card processors' statements to bank deposits, and recording payments in the general ledger account monthly. In addition, you will support with all internal and external audit requests while partnering directly with both our retail and corporate teams.

The Sales Audit Analyst will ensure all sales are accurately accounted for, payments physically collected are accurately recorded, appropriate controls are followed in order to prevent fraud or bad debt losses and ensuring compliance to the company’s established policies.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and reconcile Freestanding and Lease Department Store accounts.
  • Investigate tender variances, escalating issues to the local IT department through ticket submission.
  • Execute monthly closing procedures, including the preparation of journal entries.
  • Perform General Ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage SAP account aging and clearing processes.
  • Apply intercompany payments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct receivable and fee analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Invoice both internal and external customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive audit documentation to support financial reviews.
  • File and submit necessary evidence for chargeback claims.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and contribute to special projects as required.

Profile

We are eager to speak to candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience within finance. Proven strong quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and deadline oriented. The ideal candidate will possess Proficiency in Excel and SAP are required.

The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly within the range of USD $29-$32/Hr, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
