Job responsibilities

As Operations Manager, you will manage all aspects of product flow, team presentation, facilities, and health & safety. You will lead best-in-class operations by executing processes in line with company standards and policies. You will work in close and constant collaboration with the store leadership team, ensuring a positive team spirit, service and operations mindset, and seamless customer experience.

 

Team Management and Development

  • Play an instrumental role in continuously developing the identity of the Louis Vuitton Promise, through demonstrating and modeling the Promise and Attitudes at every opportunity

  • Support the Store Manager coaching talent for their development and growing talent, promote the full Coach Track and engagement of the team

  • Actively participate in the recruitment, integration, coaching and training of new team members

  • Collaborate with the Team Manager and Expert Advisor on induction, training & development

  • Build collaborative partnerships with corporate business partners and external vendors. Have corporate and store team fully engaged and committed to the success of operations

  • Manage performance daily, conduct performance conversations and evaluations for the team, support the Store Manager in career conversations and recruitment

  • Work closely with the leadership team and store team to provide feedback and create ideas and knowledge about operations; ensure active communication within the team

Profile

Product Flow and Stock Controls

  • Ensure proper organization and execution of incoming and outgoing product flows

  • Oversee physical inventory preparation and execution in collaboration with store, geographic leaders, deliveries etc.

  • Guarantee accuracy of stock records, minimize stock losses and take actions to achieve stock objectives

  • Ensure policies and procedures are respected

  • Oversee accurate and secure end of day stock procedures

  • Responsible for stock security in accordance with company guidelines

  • Develop and maintain productive and effective relationships with store team and back of house teams to implement improvement initiatives

Security

  • Work with Management to ensure security risks are minimized and appropriate procedures are in place (staff, clients, products, back of house, front of house)

  • Work closely with the regional Operations Manager to identify and address issues and areas for improvement (visiting audits & reports)

  • Ensure all team members have security training to support increasing awareness and reduce thefts


Facilities, Maintenance and IS&T

  • Manage store maintenance: store works, small works, and IS&T

  • Manage IT requests, issues and updates in collaboration with local and central systems

  • Work closely with the regional Operations Manager and address issues and areas for improvement

  • Provide back office support to store team and ensure full availability and security of tools and equipment

  • Oversee tools and uniforms for the team


Business Support

  • Support Store Manager to achieve business objectives related to sales service, stock and profitability

  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement

  • Work closely with the Client Development team to improve customer service and client journey

  • Identify action plans for business improvement and track progress

  • Supervise opening/closing procedures, banking duties

  • Support Store Manager with scheduling daily floor plans, trainings, operations, rotations

  • Ensure daily reporting requirements and business follow-up
