Position

OVERALL, MISSION

· Lead and develop a team of 5 distribution planners to optimize inventory levels for leather goods and accessories across our network.

· Ensure inventory alignment with sales forecasts and strategic allocation within our Japanese retail stores.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics, Merchandising, Retail, and the central Paris supply chain team to devise and implement stock management strategies that support commercial objectives and provide critical data insights.

· Drive continuous improvement and innovation within our supply chain model by collaborating closely and building strong connections with internal supply chain teams.

Job responsibilities

· Strategic Inventory Management: Lead the qualitative and quantitative optimization of product levels across all retail and digital channels. This includes controlling and challenging supply flows, daily replenishment oversight, and ensuring inventory targets are consistently met across the network. Partner with retail, merchandising and digital teams to review and optimize our Omnichannel model.

· Develop & Implement Inventory Plans: Create, execute, and oversee inventory support strategies for critical business needs such as seasonality management, network expansions, and store renovations.

· Continuous Improvement & Business Sustainability: Drive ongoing process improvements and innovation within your domain, specifically leveraging distribution strategies to enhance business sustainability.

· Executive Reporting & Collaboration: Present key insights monthly to the top management during SOP reviews. Cultivate strong, productive relationships with other departments and global Supply Chain teams.

· Team Development: Lead and execute training and skill development plans for your team.

Profile

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a university required; Engineering degree preferred.
  • Japanese and English, business level proficiency or higher (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 8 ~10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or operations.
  • Experience in luxury goods and/or global companies is a plus.
  • At ease with data analytics and advanced level in tools such as Excel / Power BI ,Power Query, Dataset.
  • Rational thinker, Problem solver.
  • Good communication skills, able to explain clearly/simply complex concepts to other teams.
  • Willing to challenge status quo and promote continuous improvement.
  • Appetite/Experience to lead and develop talents.
  • Team player, capable of working in a transversal environment.
