Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Internal Communications Intern to join our Human Resources team based in our New York City office. As an Internal Communications Intern, you will play a key role in crafting engaging written and visual content, supporting various internal communications initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally with corporate departments and Regional Teams to support Retail.

Internal Communications

  • Support the Internal Communications team with comprehensive communications plans, including but not limited to planning, writing, and organizing content for our zone-wide (Americas) intranet, newsletters and other tools on a daily basis.
  • Create and edit clear, engaging written communications, including but not limited to updates, employee highlights, and event descriptions.
  • Support basic graphic design and video editing needs for event invitations, recaps, and communication assets.
  • Maintain and update communication documentation and templates to align with the internal graphic charter as needed.
  • Support vendor onboarding and coordination between event vendors and the team, ensuring seamless event logistics and communication.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to execute employee engagement programs, including planning, internal marketing, and execution for projects and events (i.e., Town Hall, Happy Hours, Summer Soirée, Earth Day, Lunch & Learns, etc.)
  • Serve as a solution-oriented, agile, and proactive problem solver in all areas of responsibility
  • Contribute fresh perspectives and creative ideas to support communication campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to inform internal communications strategy.
  • Support the Internal Communications team with additional projects and requests as needed

 

 

Profile

We are seeking an enthusiastic intern with exceptional writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple projects effectively. Candidates should possess basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Adobe, Canva, Final Cut) for creating engaging visual content, alongside advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite. The role requires the ability to coordinate seamlessly with vendors and internal teams. Familiarity with internal communications platforms is a plus. We highly value creativity and a passion for learning and adapting to new communication technologies and trends. Experience or coursework in communications, marketing, or human resources is preferred.

 

Compensation

Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour

Graduate Interns will be compensated at: $25/hour

 

Criteria

Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in a related field of study.

Able and willing to work in New York City on a Full time/ Part time basis for up to 6 months.
