Instrumental to this vision, our California workshop services clients’ repairs for the US, Canada, and Mexico. The Production Manager provides leadership and direction to a team of 6 supervisors and 60+ skilled Artisans, effectively repairing Louis Vuitton handbags and other leather goods, through inspiring and hands-on management to ensure every repair is treated with an advanced client-oriented mindset while achieving exceptional quality and productivity goals.

Job responsibilities

• Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering high-quality repairs while adhering to department goals. • Ensure production team receives effective training and workforce development to address client needs; monitor and review performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement. • Develop supervisory team for individual growth and professional development. • Maintain a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability; ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures. • Contribute to the department’s succession plan by identifying and developing top performers. • Develop, initiate, and enforce system policies and procedures. • Manage departmental performance through visual monitoring and KPI’s; provide regular progress reports to the Client Care Services Director. • Determine necessary resources (workforce, materials, equipment, etc.) to support department goals. • Review work instructions and make change recommendations when needed to improve processes. • Provide weekly and monthly KPI’s to the team and management and propose actions to meet goals. • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments. • Develop effective relationships within matrix organization, including corporate, retail, LVUS Manufacturing, and Client Care Services counterparts in France and other Regions; globally benchmark other repair centers to determine the best process for the organization. Profile

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent management experience • 5+ years of experience in a management role • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce focused on results, employee engagement, decision making, and teamwork Preferred Skills and Experience • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Open-minded and receptive to change while supporting company goals and initiatives • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to identify problems; apply structured and disciplined methodology • Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations Special Skills: • Fluent in English and bilingual in Spanish, highly preferred • High level of proficiency in Excel and other Windows software Salary information: The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $100,000- $130,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and two retirement plans, both with employer contributions.
