Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an IS+T Manager – SAP Distribution who will act as a Business Analyst in collaboration with business department leads including Supply Chain, Logistics, and Inventory Control to fully define requirements and create solutions. This person must gain the trust and respect of their business users. They will be responsible for, and have a deep knowledgeable of, the various technologies/Software/solutions employed, including our ERP system SAP and all integrations under this domain.

The Manager will work and closely partner with Central Organization to identify opportunities and to define the LVA roadmap in alignment with the global Louis Vuitton strategy. They will continually ensure all LVA initiatives are in line with this strategy. They will be expected to be fully knowledgeable about relevant processes and projects in Central and other zones and can only do so by building strong relationships with counterparts worldwide.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead major projects as needed in coordination with the LVA IS&T teams as well as with Central (Headquarters) teams.
  • Own the SAP Distribution Domain which includes all local customizing and specification development for SAP SD, MM, and Master Data
  • Ensure a solid support model is planned & executed by the various support teams, including in the upstream systems

Job responsibilities

Application Management

  • Represent LVA in the worldwide community (Central and other zones); Ensure LVA initiatives are in alignment with global strategic direction
  • Act as a key point of contact for business teams with SAP Distribution and Referential Data
  • Conduct frequent touchpoints with department heads to ensure application management service level agreements are being met
  • Partner with Local and central counterparts to define any new initiatives. Act as a valuable business partner with relevant department heads and business key users to define project scope and requirements. Propose for arbitration to the appropriate value committees.
  • Responsible for the overall support of their area. Ensure timely and accurate updates of their LVA application scope landscape. Contributor to the application management planning by incorporating user experiences and best practices to propose future enhancements. Define and apply the security policy related to the applications in their scope
  • This individual will own the monitoring and production support of ERP (SAP) and all interfaces/integration (Middleware/ETL/Job Schedules) related to the SAP Distribution and Referential scope.

Project Management

  • Create and maintain the overall project plan for new business project requests;
  • Work in conjunction with department heads and key users to define project scope and requirements;
  • Coordinate/follow-up on project tasks across business users, IS&T and Central IS&T in France;
  • Participate in functional and integration testing;
  • Provide management status reporting, including communication to Executive Team and Central IS&T
  • Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios with the business key users; organize and coordinate UAT to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented;
  • Co-manage resources with Business Solutions, Infrastructure management and Central/Zone counterparts

Profile

The ideal candidate must have experience in the following below:

  • Experienced in operational efficiencies with a proven focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exhibits a strong sense of self-awareness and demonstrates empathy ;Encourages dialogue and welcomes diverse points of view
  • Adapts quickly and remains positive and solution-focused; highly organized with strong communication skills
  • Act as subject matter expert.; Familiar with Agile Development Methodologies
  • 5+ years of progressively increasing responsibilities in IS&T, Prior experience as business analyst or consultant
  • Comprehensive Supply Chain, Logistics, and Master Data domain experience
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0
  • SD/MM core competence; SD/MM integration points with finance; Idoc/EDI interfaces processing, analysis, and troubleshooting; Experience working with and analyzing SAP Batch Jobs/LSMW/Batch Input Sessions; General integration/interface knowledge – no development experience needed; Prefer knowledge of SAP MM/SD/Master Data DB tables
  • Prefer knowledge of Brazil local requirements (Nota Fiscal example); Prefer experience with SAP AFS solution
  • Experience in SAP S4 is plus
  • Experience with SAP and integration with an external Order Management System is a plus

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within USD $145,000 - 150,000 annually, comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discounts/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

This position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
