Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a creative and detail-oriented 3D & 2D Design Intern to join our Visual Merchandising Design team in New York City. This internship offers the opportunity to develop renderings and artwork for various projects, collaborate with vendors, and contribute to the maintenance of visual merchandising platforms and archives. This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic design environment.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create 3D renderings, hot stamps, and logos for in-store animations, events, and conceptual projects, including photo editing and artwork scaling.
  • Develop color schemes and generate imagery for event spaces and stores.
  • Compile videos showcasing project recaps, 3D rendering simulations, and fashion show content.
  • Communicate with field teams to obtain essential information, such as photos and dimensions.
  • Maintain the VM directory, WhatsApp groups, project photo archive, and prepare spreadsheets/digital assets for large-scale rollouts.
  • Assemble internal project recaps, reports, and newsletters, while also providing executive assistant support with administrative tasks and project-related errands.

Profile

The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in 3D imaging software, preferably Rhino, with a willingness to expand their knowledge, even from alternative programs like Sketch-up. Proficiency in Enscape rendering software (or a comparable platform), Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, and professional video editing software is required. The ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical schematic plans is essential. A proactive, self-starting attitude, coupled with exceptional communication skills, is ideal for success. The candidate must be highly organized with keen attention to detail and a strong visual sensibility, capable of working with a sense of urgency and efficiently reprioritizing tasks. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Compensation

  • Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour
  • Graduate Interns will be compensated at $25/hour

Criteria

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in related field of study
  • Able and willing to work at assigned location or able and willing to relocate to NYC
  • We are open to Full-time 6-month contract starting June 1st, 2026.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

The position requires 4-5 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
