Position

The Quality Trainer is responsible for meeting the final quality customer expectations within the Hub. They ensure compliance with the quality criteria defined by the Louis Vuitton company, and the transmission and adherence to these criteria by all  collaborators.

Job responsibilities

Training and Coaching of Warehouse Storekeepers-Controllers

  • Develop and adapt training materials for new hires and existing personnel.
  • Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on Quality Control procedures.
  • Provide individualized follow-up on trainee progress during and after initial training.
  • Evaluate acquired skills through tests, on-site observations, and simulated situations.
  • Implement skills development plans to meet specific needs

Continuous Quality Monitoring and Improvement

  • Conduct regular audits of Quality Control processes.
  • Analyze data from Quality Controls to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to optimize performance.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Quality.
  • Manage the calibration of measuring and control equipment.

Promotion of Quality and Safety Culture

  • Design and facilitate training on Safety, Quality, and Ergonomics rules.
  • Communicate company values and best practices in quality.
  • Organize quality awareness events (thematic days, workshops, etc.).
  • Encourage the involvement of all collaborators in the quality approach.
  • Ensure that new procedures are well communicated and understood by everyone.

Quality System Management

  • Ensure the Quality System complies with current standards.
  • Update quality documentation (procedures, instructions, forms, etc.).
  • Manage non-conformities and customer complaints.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Propose improvements to optimize the quality system.

Incoming Inspection

  • Ensure incoming inspection of complex materials (exceptionally perform leather sorting upon receipt or leather article control).
  • Ensure the implementation of a master management system for quality control and animate it.

Profile

Knowledge: The Quality Trainer possesses expertise in materials, with a specialization in a specific area, has knowledge of quality methodologies (analysis, problem-solving, continuous improvement), and masters the tools.

Know-how/Practical Skills:

  • Collect, analyze, and characterize material alerts.
  • Transmit specific quality criteria to suppliers and controllers.
  • Manage complex alert resolution projects in collaboration with suppliers, using the PQF.
  • Facilitate coordination and resolution meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Calibrate and manage HUB controllers transversally.
  • Ensure effective communication and proactive management of non-conformities to avoid disruptions in workshops.

Soft Skills/Interpersonal Skills:

  • Assertiveness to defend and argue quality decisions with suppliers and partners.
  • Rigor and methodology in approaching quality issues.
  • Developed interpersonal skills to work with various interlocutors (internal and external).
  • Ability to work under pressure to quickly resolve critical alerts.
  • Proactivity and solution orientation to anticipate and prevent quality problems.
