Position

The Facility, Safety and Sustainability Specialist, based in Fiesso D’artico (PD), is responsible for all Facility, Safety, and environmental sustainability topics for the Accessories Division across the two sites in Fiesso and Milan. This role is key in ensuring the application of regulations concerning health and safety matters and serves as a reference point for both sites on facility-related issues, in accordance with the guidelines shared by Maison and the LVMH Group.

Job responsibilities

 

GENERAL SERVICES AND MAINTENANCE

  • Manage ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the plants and machinery, coordinating the activities of third-party companies.
  • Manage contractual activities with external companies responsible for maintenance services, in line with the assigned budget.
  • Draft and coordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance program for equipment and systems.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to ensure the operational efficiency of machinery and equipment.
  • Manage the company car fleet and related policies.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of fixed and portable fire prevention systems installed on both sites.

SAFETY

  • Develop and update the Risk Assessment Document and prevention measures for the safety and healthiness of workplaces, in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08.
  • Verify compliance and applicability of health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare, control, and update company procedures and related operational instructions regarding health, safety, and environment.
  • Develop a safety culture by coordinating information and training activities for employees in collaboration with HQ and other Italian sites.
  • Manage and verify the correct use of company PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Schedule, in collaboration with the Occupational Physician, the health surveillance of workers in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
  • Schedule mandatory safety training in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
  • Coordinate prevention and response to emergencies and incidents.
  • Draft the necessary documentation for managing interferences related to outsourced activities (D.U.V.R.I., pursuant to Article 26 of Legislative Decree 81/08).
  • Prepare reports on accidents, near misses, and safety and environmental KPIs.
  • Support Supervisors in activities aimed at ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational instructions.
  • Provide basic safety rules training for newly hired staff or those on temporary assignments in other departments.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects across the Environment and Safety area.

ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

  • Verify compliance and applicability of environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate the activities of third-party companies regarding waste management and related procedures.
  • Verify the authorizations held by suppliers appointed for waste transport and disposal and update relevant documents.
  • Develop an environmental culture by coordinating information and training activities for employees in collaboration with the parent company and other Italian sites.
  • Actively participate in Sustainability projects launched by the Maison and serve as a reference point for both sites on this topic.

 Profile:

  • Education: University degree in Engineering or Economics, or a master's degree in health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) topics.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a similar role, preferably within industrial contexts.
  • Languages: Fluent in Italian and English; French will be considered a plus.
  • Travel: Frequent travel within Italy is required.
