Based out of our Aspen boutique in Colorado, we are currently seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Barton Perreira!

STORE MANAGER

Job responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Act as a key business partner in defining and executing store-level strategies aligned with overall brand objectives and regional direction.
  • Own store performance, driving revenue growth, profitability, and KPI achievement through strategic planning and execution.
  • Leverage business analysis, reporting, and client insights to identify opportunities and optimize performance.
  • Lead implementation of clienteling strategies to strengthen loyalty, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Ensure best-in-class luxury client experience at every touchpoint, resolving escalations with professionalism and brand alignment.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee visual merchandising execution aligned with brand standards and commercial impact optimization.
  • Partner with corporate and regional leadership to execute strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence.
  • Identify and evaluate new retail opportunities and market expansion potential.
  • Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team in a luxury retail environment, fostering accountability and excellence.
  • Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and performance management based on data and observation.
  • Implement structured training programs (product knowledge, client experience, selling techniques).
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment, engagement, and performance focus.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-motivation culture, supporting diversity and employee wellbeing.

Business Management & Profitability

  • Own store P&L responsibility, ensuring achievement of financial targets.
  • Drive sales performance and profitability optimization through operational and commercial excellence.
  • Manage inventory, stock accuracy, and loss prevention strategies.
  • Control store expenses and operational costs to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Store Operations & Excellence

  • Oversee daily store operations ensuring seamless execution and efficiency.
  • Maintain store as a premium luxury environment aligned with brand standards.
  • Ensure excellence in inventory management, stock control, and operational compliance.
  • Promote an omnichannel mindset, integrating digital and in-store client experience.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of a cohesive, elevated brand experience across all client touchpoints.

Profile

5+ years of retail experience with a strong emphasis on store management, preferably within a luxury environment (eyewear preferred; jewelry or fashion is a plus).

  • Proven track record of driving store sales and profitability performance.
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to inspire, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Strong clienteling and relationship-building expertise in luxury environments.
  • Excellent business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for luxury retail, design, and brand storytelling.

  • Flexible availability including monthly travel, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional information

The hiring range for this position ranges from $100,000-130,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
